Get your students growing! Come join us for a day of training for the nationally accredited Junior Master Gardener Program. MHS has joined forces with Texas Cooperative Extension from the Texas A&M University System and other great organizations including AmeriCorps, National Wildlife Federation, Learn & Serve America, Schools to Careers, Master Gardener Associations, and the Children’s Better Health Institute to bring this unique program to teachers throughout the state.
Teachers will leave with a copy of the curriculum of their choice and PDP certificates for participation. The level one program is designed for ages 6-11 and a new level two middle school-focused program will also be offered. The Junior Master Gardener Program mission 'is to grow good kids by igniting a passion for learning, success and service through a unique gardening education!'
